QLD: Wallace family declines comment on Pratt confession
The father of Australian aid worker PETER WALLACE has declined to comment on the appearance
of his son's colleague STEVE PRATT on Serbian television.
MR PRATT has confessed on TV to espionage, by providing information on Kosovo and the
effects of NATO bombing.
There's been no mention on the state television station of MR WALLACE, who was detained
with MR PRATT at the Croatian border on March 31.
CARE Australia has dismissed as absolute lunacy claims MR PRATT is a spy.
A spokeswoman for PETER WALLACE'S father ROSS says the family's heartened by confirmation
PETER's been located, and look forward to the pair returning safely to friends and family.
But, the spokeswoman says the WALLACE family was making no comment about Mr PRATT'S Serbian
television appearance and alleged confession.
